Fearless Originality – Celebrating the couple’s individuality, this wedding juxtaposed positive and negative space utilizing decor selections in black & white, along with a unique presentation of indigo within each space. Art installation-styled decor was used in lieu of flowers and candles. The ceremony aisle was peppered with bright indigo-knotted wood that lead to a mass of Edison bulbs at the altar. One long acrylic dining table showcased a mass of black antlers under a gradiation of bare bulbs, and the reception space featured 5,000 indigo cranes hanging overhead. The couple served tray-passed dessert bites followed by a seated breakfast instead of dinner. Following the ceremony recessional to a live video of Green Day, the couple had their first dance to Damien Rice’s, “Eskimo,” accompanied by an opera singer positioned on a ladder.
